Double Forte Farm is owned and operated by Caitlin Patton Rosenberg and Richard Rosenberg.
Caitlin has been riding since she was nine years old, and grew up on Maryland’s Eastern Shore with a family that kept a large garden. She sold her first produce to a local grocery store before she was ten. She is thrilled to have nine acres on which to play in the dirt.
Caitlin is also the Executive Director of the National Music Festival, and a freelance writer. You can find more information about Caitlin on her website, and more information about the National Music Festival here.
Richard grew up in the Bronx, in New York City, and enjoys living on a farm. He is an orchestra conductor and is Artistic Director of the National Music Festival and the Union Symphony Orchestra. You can learn more about Richard on his website.
Richard reluctantly takes credit for Caitlin’s enthusiasm for heritage poultry, having never guessed that his suggestion, “Let’s get a few chickens so we can have fresh eggs,” would turn into a heritage poultry breeding program!
